Our Objectives
- To stimulate interest among members and the general public in genealogy and family history research.
- To provide resources to members and the general public to further their genealogy.
- To provide assistance to people wishing to compile and preserve family histories.
About Kapiti Genealogy
- We are an affiliated branch of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists (NZSG).
- Our membership area covers from Paekakariki to Otaki.
- We celebrated 40 years of providing genealogy advice and information at our May 2024 meetings.
- The history of the Kapiti Branch is available here. The history was recorded by a past Convenor, Clive Palmer (1936-2024).
