A local genealogist, the late Val Quinlan, created a scrapbook of Births published in the Kapiti Observer/Kapiti News between 2nd May 1994 and 23rd July 2001. The scrapbook was donated to Kapiti Genealogy by her daughter Helen, and a scan of the scrapbook is available for viewing here.
An alphabetic index of the births is also available here.
The index can be browsed, or searched. The Surname field in most cases is that of the male parent, but it would also pay to check the Alternate name field as well.
NB: the page numbers in the index refer to the 17 numbered pages in the
scrapbook, and exclude the cover pages.
